Captain Herman Bips is USCG Licensed Captain with many years of teaching and sailing experience. He has introduced hundreds to the wonderful world of sail and invites you to share a wonderful sail experience whether classes or cruises.
Captain Bips has lived in the Tampa area for over 20 years and originally hails from the New Jersey area . Sailing to Key West , Cuba, Dry Tortugas, Sarasota, and his favorite,Captiva, he has the experience and teaching expertise to help you adjust to a new, exciting, relaxing nature of sail. Captain Bips is a US Sail certified keelboat instructor and has taught over the past 10 years.
Also a very active member of Davis Island Yacht Club, Davis Islands, Tampa, he will answer any questions on the sailing scene as well as info on the club. Look under the links page for additional club info.
